About the event

Kamayan Feast

Sunday September 30th | 6-8pm

With Chef Juneil Cabreza, Co-Owner L’Incontro

Kamayan means “hands” in Tagalog -  is a communal feast where the food is laid out on a bed of banana leaves instead of plates and your eating utensils are your fingers. One could call it the ultimate finger-food experience.

With kamayan, there's no formality, no separate courses, and no passing of dishes because all the food is arranged in close proximity, the flavors can mingle and meld together, so that the coconut milk from one recipe plays well with the fish sauce from another.

Here's a little teaser of what will be on your banana leaves:

  • Fried Whole Red Snapper
  • Grilled Prawns
  • Grilled Chicken Skewers
  • Pancit
  • Pinakbet
  • Garlic Fried Rice
  • Assorted Fruits & Veg

Sparkling and still water is included with your purchase. In addition, Love Cafe will be offering a special drink menu this evening. Drinks and gratuity are not included in your ticket - both of which are completely optional!

We look forward to our first pop-up dinner and cannot wait to serve you!
