About the event

Kamayan Feast

Monday September 30th | 6-8pm

With Chef Juneil Cabreza, Co-Owner L’Incontro

Step into an unforgettable dining experience with our Kamayan Feast! In Tagalog, Kamayan means "with hands," and this traditional Filipino-style communal meal takes you on a sensory adventure where plates are replaced with a beautiful spread of banana leaves, and utensils? Just your hands! Imagine indulging in vibrant, flavorful dishes while sharing good food, great conversation, and creating memorable moments with your fellow diners. It’s the ultimate finger-food experience, bringing everyone closer—literally and figuratively!

You’ll savor the heart of Filipino culture in every bite— an experience that’s just as much about community as it is about the incredible food.

Here's a little teaser of what will be on your banana leaves:

  • Fried Pompano - whole red snapper
  • Lechon Kawali - crispy pork belly
  • Grilled Prawns - shell-on prawns marinated in a garlic sauce
  • Grilled Chicken Adobo Skewers - chicken thighs marinated in soy sauce and vinegar
  • Lumpia Shanghai - thin crepes filled with minced mushrooms and vegetables, served with a sweet and sour dipping sauce
  • Pancit Bihon - stir-fried thin rice noodles with seasonal vegetables
  • Pinakbet - vegetable stew made with eggplant, acorn squash, Chinese long beans, okra, bittermelon, and Chinese broccoli
  • Garlic Fried Rice - long grain rice with fried garlic and chives
  • Atchara - pickled green papaya, carrots, and garlic
  • Sawsawan - Filipino dipping sauce made with sugar, vinegar, citrus and chilis

In addition, Love Cafe will be offering a special Filipino inspired drink menu this evening.

Drinks and gratuity are not included in your ticket - both of which are completely optional!

We look forward to our first pop-up dinner with Chef Juneil, and cannot wait to serve you!
